Detective have launched investigations into the sudden death of Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery. Scene of crime detectives pitched tent at Nkaissery’s home in Karen Hardy, Nairobi, where he has his last super with family and the Bomas of Kenya where he had his last drink with friends.
The investigators were piecing together the CS’s last moments. The first team arrived at the minister’s home in the morning and was joined by a different team at around 3pm.
Political analyst Ngunyi Mutahi advances the argument that Nkaissery was assassinated.
The entrance to the house was cordoned off and journalists kept out of the premises. The gate to the house remained shut with limited access to police officers and close family members.

A separate team of investigators camped at the Bomas of Kenya, one of the places late Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery visited last night. Bomas, a tourist destination that displays traditional villages belonging to the several Kenyan tribes in Langata, Nairobi, was cordoned off as a crime scene.
